Meet Your Instructor
Hi! I’m Meagan,
Your Positive Behavior Guide and Behavior Coach
I'm certified as a nature school guide having had my own play-based nature school, and I’m certified in positive discipline. Serving children is my passion and I have served children and families in early childhood intervention providing speech therapy.
I'm also a parenting coach and a foster and bio mom. Play, nature, and behavior are my passions and my future plan is to turn my land into a Nature-Play School for Families.
I designed our PBG membership and programs at the request of a fellow nature school founder. She noticed what I was doing with the parents in my parenting groups and reached out to me to see if I would create a program for her nature school staff so they could better understand behavior and approach it more effectively. So I did! And I’m so honored to be doing this work with you too!

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the membership last?
It's a 3 months program but we're offering one extra month as bonus -- so you'll receive coaching and support for 4 months!
What kind of support is included in this course?
All students will receive live group coaching in zoom, access to a private Facebook group to ask questions outside of coaching calls. If you are a founder, you'll also receive founders-only call for additional support.
What if I don't have a team and it's just me? Should I still join?
Absolutely! Work with me to become more confident and equipped so that you can more effectively serve the children in your care!
Do I have to enroll my whole team or just the ones who need it the most?
That depends on your goal! Do you want your whole team to understand behavior better and approach it appropriately? Do you want everyone on the same page using the same proven, respectful approaches, then yes! Enrolling your whole team is a great decision. And we give a discount to groups of 5 or more!
If you have a smaller budget and have some team members who need the support a little more than others, then yes! Enrolling just them is fine!
What about 1:1 Support for behavior concerns? Can you train a 1:1 Support person?
Yes! If that is needed. Absolutely! However, when your whole team becomes equipped you may not need to hire an extra 1:1 support person
Parents need training too. Will this program train them as well?
Yes! We offer parents handouts tailored to their needs.
Will I need to pay my teachers extra hours to attend the membership?
The logistics can be worked out! Every team does it their own way. Some school founders uses this course in replacement of their routine staff meetings.
Do I have to attend the live coaching call alongside with the teachers?
It's up to you! I'm here to support you and give you time back. We've had founders who attend every session while some only drop-in as necessary.
What if the program doesn't work?
Behavior change is simple! It’s not easy, but with a few foundational pieces in place it becomes simple! I promise your team will have better behaviors in the first week and you will see the positive effects reflected in the children’s behaviors as well.
What if a teacher has resistance to getting training!
